Want to John Wick reload? Want to have more silly shell attached to you than you know what to do with? Well do I have just the thing for you!

This is a silly shell caddie with a capacity of 8 shells per plate. It uses a spring driven plunger to actively hold the shells in place, loosely inspired off of real-steel ‘3 gun’ Shell caddies.

You will need a minimum of four m3 x 12 screws and four m3 hex nuts, although this was designed to use eight of each. You will also need four 2in x 0.93in x 0.05in springs, I used springs out of a dexcom g7 ‘deployer’, but you should be able to get something similar at ace hardware or online, it’s not incredibly picky with springs.

If you cut these https://a.co/d/08Voopuo springs in half, they will work with the alternate smaller pusher, thanks to chefboyardemon for testing and finding something more easily accessible!

You will also need whatever hardware the midlock 2 attachment method of your choice uses.

To assemble, just put your spring on the pusher then insert it at an angle into the bottom clamp piece, then slide the top and bottom clamps onto the plate then screw down.

Make sure to turn off “remove small overhangs” in your slicer or some lips won’t print correctly. I reccomend printing the ‘top clamp’ with the dovetail pointing down for sturdiness, you should be able to auto-orient the rest!

It takes approx 250g of filament for the plate, the upper clamp, the lower clamp, the plungers, and the belt attachment from chance.

Please post your makes I would love to see them!
