I bought a cheap Fichero Labelprinter at our local Action store after reddit user OilTechnical3488 reversed its Bluetooth protocol and published a web-app to control without a privacy invading app.

Since the original packaging has a lot of wasted space, I wanted a more compact box. And thus, I used my 3d printer to create a box for this 2d printer. The volume is reduced by almost half, with the added benefit of having a compartment for up to 4 rolls of additional labels.
Fun fact: the box is 42mm tall, making it a perfect fit for gridfinity.

Before printing, I added some modifiers to the model to minimise filament usage. Both in the center of the box and the lid I reduced the top and bottom layers to 0 and set 10% hex infill with 2x multiline.

I only used a single outer wall and it seems sturdy enough.
