It is a really simple stand for tablets. It offers four different angles (10°, 20°, 30°, 40°) and takes tablets or phones up to 7.5 mm thickness. I tested it with iPhone X, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPad Gen 6, iPad A15 and iPad Air M1.
There is a basic model, which is really easy to print, and an extra model, that offers holes (8mm) for rubber feet and can take 5 M10 washers and a M10 nut to make it heavier and more stable.
Do not over tighten the nut! It only has to keep the washers in place.
You already broke off the center pole? Don't worry. I added a filler to cover the hole. Print it in vase mode and push it in. It probably won't take M10 washers anymore but you could fill it up with other material of your choice.
If you want to be sure, take the extra-bolt version. In this version the washers get fixed by a M10x20 or M10x25 bolt. Unfortunately this will need some support, but it is almost impossible to break. I attached an example 3mf file.
PLA works just fine. It doesn't need any special printing settings. 10% infill and 2 perimeters are ok.
The extra model maybe requires brim on the outside because of the holes for the rubber feet in the corners.
I designed this model from scratch but the idea is from this model so I uploaded it as an remix.
The geometry is there, now give me some interesting makes or remixes!
