designed a stackable “tuna‑can” style modular space habitat, inspired by speculative engineering concepts and NASA‑style mission architecture. The goal was to create a 3D‑printable model that is both imaginative and structurally logical, while demonstrating how modularity can support long‑duration off‑world living. Current material is ABS plastic.  Window features are meant to be clear.

The habitat is built around a cylindrical, vertically stackable form, allowing multiple units to be combined into larger colonies or rearranged depending on mission needs. Each module contains four functional stages, representing the essential systems of a self‑contained space habitat:

1. Upper Command Stage

This section houses navigation, communication, and mission‑control systems. It is designed as the “brain” of the habitat, coordinating operations between the other stages.

2. Living Section Stage

This mid‑level module represents crew quarters, life‑support systems, and shared living spaces. Its cylindrical geometry allows for efficient internal layout and even pressure distribution.

3. Garage / Utility Stage

This stage provides storage for tools, rovers, and mission equipment. It also serves as a buffer zone between the living area and the propulsion systems.

4. Propulsion Ascent/Descent Stage

The base module contains the engines and fuel systems needed for landing, repositioning, or ascent. It completes the stack and gives the habitat mobility if required.

The design is meant to be fun, creative, and exploratory, but it also serves as a conceptual testbed for thinking about modular extraterrestrial architecture. The stackable format allows for rapid reconfiguration, expansion, or replacement of individual stages.
