A simple thread protector for Chameleon SS17/SS25 whip antennas. Fitted and designed using the SS25, however the SS17 should work just fine as they have the same thread pattern. Note, the diameter of the cap may differ for the SS17 (I don't have one to measure the width of the base).
I kept getting paranoid after disassembling my SS25 antenna that I was going to drop or bump the threads on the base and ruin the whole antenna, so I designed this simple end cap to protect them from bump/drops.
Printed on a Bambu X1 Carbon using ABS (for durability) using the default build plate.
