This thing includes F3D files. One for a generic bowl form (segment of a sphere), one for a blate form, and one for an angular bowl/plate. You can use the STLs directly if you want for a 200mm wide form, but the real intended use case here is to set the parameters to create a bowl and blate form of any shape and size and its corresponding mold (to be used for casting plaster forms).

I actually haven’t used it yet since I’m out of filament and plaster but it should work.

I made them shells so they would require less material and should be easier to de-mold. Would recommend a random seam alignment for printing. Then you can smooth the plaster form afterwards if there are printing artifacts.

The F3D files should include some analyses including section analysis (to see cross section) and accessibility analysis (to see overhangs which would interfere with de-molding).

The CurveRatio parameter on the blate form must be less than 1. I wouldn’t recommend going too close to 1 because then you’ll get issues with demolding. I would recommend a thin Mold/FormThickness for easier demolding and less use of filament.

Edit: After printing a test, I would further recommend changing the form thickness to around 1mm. The one on the STL is a bit too thick.
