Vacuum plugin: curve

This plugin is designed to be used with the Vacuum plugin holder.

It is a curved tube that moves the plugin holder in a more convenient position when you do not have enough space. The typical use case is when you have walls or other obstacles that prevent you from using other plugins, such as the Vacuum plugin needle, because the angle is not right. With the Vacuum plugin curve, you can easily move the plugin holder to a more convenient position, allowing you to access hard-to-reach areas without any issues.

PLA works well for this design, no technical materials are needed. Print it as it is shipped: the plugin holder collar facing upwards, angled at 45 degrees as you can see in the screenshot from the slicer. You need supports only on the build plate, no supports are needed for the internal curved tube. 10% infill (use any pattern you like, it does not really matter) and it should be ready to use right after printing!

Dimensions

Plugin attachment external diameter: 33mm.
Curve height (from plugin attachment to plugin holder collar): 100mm.
Center distance between original plugin holder and plugin holder moved by the curve: 80mm.

Print settings

Nozzle diameter: HF 0.4mm.
Layer height: 0.2mm.
Perimeters: 2.
Infill: 10% gyroid (or any pattern you like).
Solid layers: keep the default settings (5 top and 3 bottom).
Supports: snug (or whatever you want) on build plate only.
