These little clips slide over the top of vinyl record gatefolds to keep them closed when being displayed upright in a vertical stand. These take inspiration from @micahbowerbank's record clips, but I had some records that were too thick and those didn't fit. So I created a fully parametric clip from scratch that can be adjusted for any size you need
Model files for opening widths 3mm-10mm are included here, or use the FreeCAD file to generate your own with whatever settings you need. Most albums will probably need 4-6mm. Some thicker albums may need more. Can be used for small books as well.
Super fast print, the 5mm clips only need about 5 minutes and 0.3m of filament to print a pair of them.
No special print settings needed. I printed mine in PLA with 0.2mm layer height, 2 walls, and 15% infill, worked just fine. However, they are very small, so printing with a brim may be helpful if you have trouble keeping them stuck to the bed.
