This model provides a simple method to identify unknown filaments based on their adhesion to a known PLA layer.

First, print a thin layer (up to 1mm) with PLA, then print a second layer (up to 1mm) with the unknown filament. By checking how well the layers stick together, you can determine the filament type:
Great adhesion: PLA
Poor adhesion: PETG
Medium adhesion: ABS or ASA
A fast and easy way to identify your mystery filament!
