UPDATES:
(2026-03-13) I have added a version that is jointed at both ends. These files end with "_double_joint". This version is not tested in the water yet but feel free to be my beta-tester :)
DESIGN IDEA:
Print and swap parts as you like.
Is the joint wearing out? Print a new one and replace it!
Big pike damaged the tail? Print a new tail!
Did you weigh it down to much or not enough? Remove or add one weight while you are fishing!
BOM:
2 M3x 30mm screws
A "handfull" of M7 set screws of various lengths (at least 3 with a combined weight of roughly 4.3g).
3 threaded eyelets
optional: 2 12mm epoxy eyes.
PRINT SETTINGS:
wall generator: Arachne
walls: 3
infill: 40% rectlinear for the tail and head, 100% for the joint! (can be adjusted to match your preference but this is what works for me with my M7 set screws) with a total weight of 4.3g, not including eyelets and hooks)
supports: tree auto (on build plate only)
