The water filter door in the ceiling of my Whirpool fridge broke while replacing the filter. The latch is a compliant mechanism that is cast into the door. As an alternative to buying a replacement door, I designed this clip.
To install the clip, hold the door closed while inserting the clip, closed end up, into the hole made by the missing latch. The side with two fins will face away from you, the side with one fin should face tward you.
