***Currently Works for GEN M2 /M3 P/T MAGs and MILSPEC Steel Mags***
In years past I used a full "dummy mag" with flag integrated into it to indicate weapon safe. These were always loose and not as pleasing to look at as a traditional magazine. After a few iterations I ended up on this chamber flag design which "loads" into your magazine of choice.
The only Magazine Housed Chamber Flag around.
Prevents the bolt from riding forward indicating weapon is clear when installed into a magazine on AR style platforms. Designed for Magpul brand GEN 2 and 3 PMAGs but does work with traditional "MILSPEC" steel magazines as well. Has been tested and proven to work in the following Magpul capacities and calibers (5.56/.223 - 10rds, 20rds, 30rds | .300 Blackout - 30rds/PMAG and TMAG M3) (5.56/223 - 30rds Windowed Magazine M2). No reason to not work in other P-Mag style of same generation but will continue testing and refining as need be for larger calibers. (Found to have issues with generic steel non-MILSPEC magazines, those you get with some firearm purchases)

Installs in two ways: First, is to slide in like a round at an angle riding the flag on the nearest retaining wing while also pushing downwards to depress the internal magazine spring, rotate the Mag-Flag vertically once the retaining lug is beyond the left exterior of the magazine. Second, fit between the two retaining wings at an angle and push the follower down and simultaneously rotate the Mag-Flag vertically.
