This custom-fit FireStick remote cover was designed using a 3D scan of the original remote. The scan was converted into a solid model, then offset to create a snug protective shell. Button cutouts were added for usability, resulting in a drop-resistant and practical case.
This fits model: K7Q3MT
This project highlights how 3D scanning can be used for rapid prototyping and creating functional, real-world solutions.
Use an allen key to wedge the cover over the remote, check out the video for a demo.
Recommended Materials:
Havent tried with TPU but used a 75A material in the video.
BIQU Morphlex or similar flexible materials for a snug, protective fit

These models were created using a combination of 3D scanning and traditional mesh editing workflows. 3D scanning is a powerful tool for capturing real-world objects and bringing them into your digital workspace.
If you print one of these, I’d love to see it. Tag me or share your make.
Happy printing.
