I wanted a slimmer storage solution, less bulky and using less filament than those already available. fitting in an existing box was not a consideration as I have many (too many) catan pieces, and I just needed to keep them organized better and safer than plastic sacks. But I didn't want to spend several rolls of filament to do it.
Enter, THE SLIM CATAN HEX STORAGE. For use with 79mm tiles (3.125 in), that are 5.6 mm tall at the road surface.
The walls thickness is designed to print 2-walls thick at infill 0% with a .4 nozzle on .2 mm layer. This improves print speed, and reduces unnecessary travel moves, without sacrificing wall strength.
