Motivation
Finally made a case for the classic Proxmark 3 RDV2 - a device I still use and always wanted a suitable case for.
Bill of Materials
14x M2x5 self-tapping screws
e.g. from this set at amazon
5x M2x8 self-tapping screws (1x for the button, 4x for the case)
(also from the set above)
Print Settings
Profile
Printed with the "0.20 Structural" profile on a CoreOne (the top with 4 manual filament changes).
Adjustments
Increase perimeters from 2 to 3.
Filament Types
Printed in PLA+, PETG works, too.
Multi-Color Print
If you want to either cut-out or print the text and symbols import the top, right-click and split to objects. You can then paint or remove the different objects.
Assembly
Assemble the pushbutton. Use the M2x8 screw to mount it. Do not tighten the screw. Make sure it is oriented as shown in the picture
Mount the proxmark pcb and fix it using 6 screws.
Mount both antennas and fix with 4 screws each. The angled connector should be connected to the antenna.
Carefully close the case and make sure the angled antenna connectors point inwards.
Screw in the remaining 4 screws to make sure the case stays closed.
Notes
The pattern on the side of the top prints very ugly due to default seam settings (and probably my poor design ;) ) . Remixes are welcome, can provide step or onshape url - leave a comment.
There a no cutouts for the LEDs
There should be enough space in the Base for a battery. The On/Off switch would need a cutout though.
