This Mini S-40 will be 1:6 scale, and works on 130 motor. You can get it for absolutely free from old toy!
Also, if you dont know where it used -  its being used in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Estonia, Lithuania, but initially it started in Soviet Union.

  Building guide

    You will need:

  • A 3D-printer ofc

  • 130 motor

  • Hot glue

  • Some patience

  • PWM (if you want)

  • Sandpaper

Let's start from chopper assembly.

   Chopper assembly

Pick chopper and stator with port ratio you need

Choose from: 6, 8, 10

To get most authentic sound, pick 10 port
Note: You will probably need PWM to make it rotate at 3000-4000 rpm to achieve authentic sound with 10 ports.

Print chopper and stator with port ratio you pick'd. If you gonna use it outside, i recommend PETG. You can also use PLA if you want.

After you printed chopper and stator, glue stator to the motor boss. Then mount the rotor onto the motor shaft. Now that's pretty much it. Next step is...

 Shroud assembly

First, print 1 or 2 shrouds

I recommend 2. Glue first shroud to the top of rotor. If you printed second shroud, glue it on top of the first one.

Now, you can glue a piece mesh to stator for more close to original look. Not all S-40 got that.

So, after all that, congrats, you got fully working mini S-40 :D
Have fun using this siren!
Also, it prints really fast because this siren is really simple, and, also sounds much simpler and boring than the most other sirens.
You might need to sand some parts
