A minimalist bee hotel designed for outdoor spaces. The housing is fully 3D printed, providing a keyhole slot to be wall-mounted. The angled openings help keep the interior dry. The 3-combo (as pictured) holds around 100 bamboo tubes with 10 cm in length and 4-10 mm in width.
The design is split into multiple modules with different diameters, allowing flexible arrangement on a wall or fence:
⌀ 5 cm
⌀ 7 cm
⌀ 10 cm
—
Other parts needed:
100 bamboo sticks, length 10 cm, width 4-10 mm
M3/M4 pan head screw
—
Assembly:
Put some wet clay, beeswax, or a mixture of wood glue and sawdust on the inside to hold the bamboo tubes in place and seal off their backside.
