Tools needed: Hot Glue Gun, Screwdriver/drill, wire stripper and cutter, and soldering iron.

Screws used: 2-56x3/8 Pan Head Machine Screws

Screw Count

Topper Speaker Cell

8 Outer Shell

8 Speaker Gantry

8 Connector

24 Screws in total

Middle Speaker Cell (Multiply this by how many extra cells you are putting on!)

8 Outer Shell

8 Speaker Gantry

8 Connector

8 Top Connector

36*(Extra Cells) In total

Bottom Dummy Cell

8 Outer Shell

8 Top Connector

8 Bottom Attachment (If it’s less than 4 cells, you can use 4 screws)

24 Total

(# of extra speaker cells)*32+48=Amount of screws you’ll need

MOD 1004: 48 Screws, 20W, 2 cells

MOD 2008: 80 Screws, 40W, 3 cells

MOD 3012: 112 Screws, 60W, 4 cells (you might wanna start using PETG or something stronger past this point)

MOD 4016: 144 Screws, 80W, 5 cells

MOD 5020: 176 Screws, 100W, 6 cells (Might wanna start to go a little lighter on the infill for the top, and use a tougher material like PETG)

MOD 6024: 208 Screws, 120W, 7 cells

MOD 7028: 240 Screws, 140W, 8 cells

MOD 8032: 272 Screws, 160W, 9 cells (I would not go any higher than this.)

Note: your hands may get tired using a screwdriver to install the screws, so I would get a small drill bit for installing small screwdrivers with an extender to install the screws

Speaker Count

(It is possible to use less than 4 speakers per cell, but this’ll limit your unit to a lower volume or range in a certain direction.)

MOD 1004: 4 speakers, 20W, 2 cells

MOD 2008: 8 speakers, 40W, 3 cells

MOD 3012: 12 speakers, 60W, 4 cells

MOD 4016: 16 speakers, 80W, 5 cells

MOD 5020: 20 speakers, 100W, 6 cells

MOD 6024: 24 speakers, 120W, 7 cells

MOD 7028: 28 speakers, 140W, 8 cells

MOD 8032: 32 speakers, 160W, 9 cells

To put together your mini modulator after you printed the parts.

It's best to assemble from the top cell down to run the wires easier.

if you are making a multiple speaker cell modulator, use the cell top for the other cells, and use the top cell topper for the top cell.

To install the speakers to the gantries, fit the speaker into the hole and hot glue it in place by the speaker diaphragm supports with 4 blobs

To run the main wire, cut a meter of bell wire and run 4 inches of it through one of the side holes of the center.

To install the cell joiner, place the cell connector into the inside slot with the top text facing down, make sure the screw holes are aligned or else you may damage the part. (do not install it on the outside slot if you are making an extra speaker cell, but you can)

To install the gantries to the cell, install the screws so that they stick out by like a millimeter so that it's easier to line them up. When you get it in the spot, tighten the screws until you feel resistance.

If your speakers are pre-wired with connectors, cut the connector off and hook up all the speaker wire colors to the main wire colors with wire nuts. Or hook them up with a connector bus and hook up the connector with a wire nut or something.

If not, solder some 22/2 stranded gauge wire the length of the cell diameter (8 inches) with the positive on the right and the negative on the with magnet up, and hook up the speaker wires to the main wire.

To install the bottom cell part, run the main wire out the main hole and screw in 8 screws to secure the piece, make sure the holes are aligned or you may damage the part.

To make a dummy cell, print a cell top and cell bottom with a cell joiner, install the cell joiner on the inside first, then install the cell bottom, along with pre inserting screws on the outside connector for attaching it to another cell.

To assemble your mini modulator, start by running the top cell's wire through the next down cell's top connector, and fasten the screws with holes aligned, if you have another cell, run the remaining wires through the next cell and so on.

If you reach the bottom cell, run the wires through the bottom cell mounting adapter you chose, then screw the screws in with holes aligned.

(Not recommended) If you are using the glue on mounting adapter, add glue to the middle of the insert and twist it until you feel tightness, do not twist too far or you might lose that tightness, but you can easily recover.

To secure the mini modulator siren to the pole mounting adapter, insert screws through the bottom of the adapter you chose for your pole.

There is a chance your mini modulator siren can stand on it's own without any support.

To wire up the mini modulator, use one of the junction boxes and install the wiring buses with plastic installing screws. insert the wires and screw in the terminals, along with tightening the screws.
