After learning how to print 10 rows of 10 links with alternating end links to form a continuous chain (see 100+ link chain), the obvious question is how far can I go? The answer: 34 rows of 36 links with 33 links on alternating ends for a total of 1257 links!!! The estimated length is 10.056m!!!

Supports are required because the links are so small and have very little contact with the bed. Also, I had to use snug supports because the grid and organic supports include a brim that extended beyond the print bed limits. For organic supports, I had to reduce the model to 34x32+31 (1119) links.

I've included the scad code, so feel free to install OpenSCAD and experiment!! See 100+ link chain for more details. https://openscad.org/

prusa slicer settings: 0.15mm Quality, PLA, supports everywhere, 100% infill, no brim, Filaments > first & other layers 65C, print settings > skirt & brim > skirt loops = 0, brim type = no brim, Support material > overhang threshold = 0, raft layers = 3, raft expansion = 0.5, support material style = snug.

Any suggestions on what I should try next?
