I needed a replacement for a broken toy wand and ended up with one shaft and four heads: a classic star, a crystal array, a dragon egg and an icosahedron. Each head screws onto the shaft and can be mixed and matched freely. The shaft has recesses for decorative stones, included as a separate "Decoration.stl" file.
How to print? Print the shaft and at least one head. The decorative stones are optional but I think they look really nice on the shaft.
Print recommendations: Basic printer settings work fine, but I recommend at least 3 perimeters for the shaft. The thread is the weakest point – consider adding more perimeters or infill in that area for the head.
Filament: Tested with silk and Prusament blend filaments, which turned out a bit brittle for the shaft and thread. PLA works well and PETG even better.
In case someone likes to design their own head, the connector uses a standard M8x1.25 ISO metric thread, 8mm deep (right hand). I'm really curious what unexpected creations could emerge!
