My ikea markus armrest disintegrated after 6 years of use. Everything else works perfectly fine so I don't feel like buying a new one just for this.

They don't sell replacements so I decided to design and print it myself

*It is a two part design with very small (built in) supports.
*you will need two low profile m6 hex nuts

I printed the base out of PLA and curved it slightly using a hot air blower (do not overdo it.. you will ruin it). you can also use hot water.

The cover is printed out of FilaFlex Foamy Black 78A - 51A but you can use any kind of TPU you may like.

TIPS:

- The cover doesn't need any top layers. It will save you a lot of expensive filament and time.
- Play with the infill percentage to achieve the softness you prefer.
- Use the original armrest screws
