here's my case design for the WB2CBA uSDX SOTA RADIO,

I Added mounts for a speaker in the front panel, fans in the main case for cooling on those long summer days out playing radios and chasing the DX, volume knob hole for a 3w amplifier module and power and fan switching, I blocked off the original PCB mount DC jack and fitted my own 2.1mm DC Jack to deal with all the power switching for everything, there is also a hole mounting in the back of the case for a USB-C panel mount socket if you wish to add a battery and charger circuit,

the speaker i used was the guts of one of these :  https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0DQ4XS19V?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

the audio amp module i used was this : https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09Z29CS85?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1

I used 2.5mm spacers between the PCB's 2.5 x 14 and 2.5 x 20mm with a nut added under the PA board (see pic attached) I hope you can see what i mean but it's important to get it right for the antenna socket spacing,

i used this VFO Knob and im simply sharing this as part of my own choice in what i decided to use as i felt it fitted the radio nicely, the VFO Knob was not my design :

thanks to DM4DS for that !

the fans grills i used again were not my own design: they were these:

i simply made the a little thicker to match the case size i had and make them nice and flush so any attached stand wouldnt foul it,

I will add the stand soon,

I hope you like my design, I really enjoyed building the uSDX Radio from Barb WB2CBA who has offered help at a few point during the build when i had questions in the forum, its always nice when the actual maker replies when you have questions on the forum during a DIY Build, Thanks Barb and the other great members on the groups.io forum

Thanks
