Camera with tele lens and original grip becomes too heavy after carrying it for a while (getting old). Nikon's MB-D15 grip is nearly 400gms. I like the extended body though as I've got big hands. Hence I decided to make a lightweight basic grip for the D7200. No buttons for camera operations, just to extend the body to improve holding it. I've included the Freecad files.
Printed in PLA+, walls 1.6mm 30% infill. Using a standard 0.25" thumb screw (32mm diameter)locked in place with a tight-fitting cap and 2x 2mm screws in the lock pins to strengthen them.
