This is a PUG mount for a big boy Switchwire with the standard 3-hole drag chain on the Z axis. I made it because I couldn't find a working PUG mount for my LDO Switchy. It might work on an Enderwire. You'll have to test it to be sure. If you have IGUS chains, you're out of luck.

I designed this part in Fusion, using the actual Voron Switchwire F3D as a reference. I recommend printing in ABS or ASA using standard Voron settings (40% infill, .4 forced, 4 walls). Orientation should be correct. Use supports/brim if you're paranoid.

I also included the design's STEP file in case you want to modify it, or remix it, or whatever. I don't care what you do. It's your world. I'm just living in it.

What You Need:

  • (2) M3x8 BHCS, SHCS or FHCS

  • (2) 4mm brass heatset inserts

  • (3) M3x12 BHCS, SHCS, or FHCS

To Install:

  • Install 2 heated inserts into the two holes nearest the PUG cutout.

  • Remove your drag chain at the gantry.

  • Align the 3 holes in the mount with the 3 holes in the end link of your drag chain.

  • Use 3 M3x12 Screws to reattach the drag chain.

  • Affix your PUG gland and wires and secure them with the other half of the mount and 2 M3 x 8 screws.

If you're like me and your brain is smooth, just check the pictures. If you can't figure it out after looking at those, you probably shouldn't be operating a 3D printer.

Enjoy.
