Filament sample tiles and holder - fast print!

Swatches are designed to be printed at .25mm layer height with a .4mm nozzle! Each one is 2.55 grams and takes 9 minutes to print.

I found other swatches to be too simple, too large, or too complex, so I made my own. These swatches show samples of your filament at 3 different layer heights so you can see how transparent each color is. There is enough space to either add an embossed text label or to print and paste your own (clear label tape would be perfect for this). Just follow the steps for adding text to a model in whichever slicer you're using. 

Depending on your filament(s) and printer, the swatch holder may be tight, loose, or just right for each individual swatch. Please calibrate the model's clearance using the test print before printing the holder. Simply print the "Swatch clearance test" in the color you plan to print the holder in (I recommend gray, black, white, or transparent), and then print one of the swatches. Insert the swatch into the holder and see how it fits. Adjust the scale of the test model up or down 1-2% until you achieve the desired tightness. Since each swatch will be printed in a different filament, you may still have some swatches that are tighter/looser - err on the tighter side so that they don't fall out.
