I made this stand for displaying discs as i couldn't find a suitable option to stand the discs without risking damage and needed a better way to present games i was selling on eBay for taking photos.
I made the stand so it suspends the disc from the center as it would be held in a normal case leaving just enough clearance from the feet that this is the only point of contact. To help keep the disc in place i added a small lip to the top edge of the support so the disc can be placed on easily but is less likely to fall off accidentally.
This is my first original design post and I hope it can help someone having a similar issue to me.
I think it's useful for collectors and sellers wishing to display loose discs, and i want people using it this way but selling the stands themselves as a product is not what i want hence my license choice. I want it to remain free for anyone that wants/needs it and if people want to profit from it stop being lazy and design you own XD
It was designed in Blender and printed on an Elegoo Neptune Pro 3 using PLA at 0.2mm layer height and 0.40mm nozzle 20% infill, no additional bed adhesion and only the horizontal arm supporting the disk needing supports, i used tree supports.
