This model is an (almost) perpendicular set of screw gears. The teeth interlock so that when one is turned, the other does too.
Print 1 frame, 2 gears, 2 spikes, and 1 or 2 handles. Using a raft for printing the frame and the gears is advised.
This fidget toy is a little noisy, but that seems common among 3D printed fidgets.
It's also tricky to get a good grip if you attach both crank handles, but that was because I was trying to minimize filament use and maximize visibility.
Assembly
Take one of the gears. You'll notice that one end tapers quickly and has a square hole on the tip. Insert that end into one of the frame's holes from the inside. Then gently persuade the other end into position so that it lines up with the opposite hole.
Insert the other gear in the same way.
Glue the spikes into the frame holes where they can fit. This is to hold the gears in place. I used hot glue.
Glue handles into one or both of the square holes.
