Helmet of the Radiance from Hollow Knight. There were not any existing cosplays of the character so I made one.
Printing:
Model fits 300mm^3 print bed. Anything smaller will need to be split. Print the helmet piece with supports (I used tree/organic supports to reduce time/material usage). The crown pieces should print support-less with the right orientation.
Assembly:
I recommend installing threaded inserts for the crown pieces and screwing them into the helmet. Alternatively, you can use dowels/pegs and glue them on.
Non-3D printing related parts:
The mane was cut out of 1" thick upholstery foam and then assembled with hot glue. I then used faux fur to fur it and patterned the wings with a large sheet of paper + traced that onto fabric.
The eyes are plastic ornaments painted then glued to the mesh.
