My daughters asked me to print a medallion, in which they can store small pictures of their friends and family.
The main challange was designing the hinge for the lids, but with the help of this instructable from Greg Zumwalt I managed it, finally.
If you like, you can design the front lid individually with embossed initials or similar. The STL I uploaded contains the blank lid.
How to print:
- PLA or PETG
- Layer height: 0.12mm
- Supports: none
- Hinge prints in place
After printing:
Fold the finished print carefully together to make the hinge work. It might need some force, but it shouldn't break that easy.
