A complete, print-ready collection of all 5 Platonic Solids designed as elegant wireframe (hollow) 3D models.

These models feature clean, solid edges with entirely open faces. This skeletal, minimalist design allows you to look directly through the shapes, making it incredibly easy to study their internal geometry, symmetry, and intersection lines.

Whether you need a high-quality educational tool for STEM classrooms, a striking piece of minimalist desk decor, or a demanding test for your 3D printer's retraction settings, this set is perfect for the job.

What's Included (5 Models):

  • Tetrahedron (4 faces)

  • Hexahedron / Cube (6 faces)

  • Octahedron (8 faces)

  • Dodecahedron (12 faces)

  • Icosahedron (20 faces)

Recommended Print Settings

Because these models consist entirely of thin edges and have minimal contact with the build plate, please use the following settings for the best results:

  • Supports: Highly recommended. You will need support structures to hold up the overhanging upper beams and top vertices.

  • Bed Adhesion: Use a Brim (5-10mm). The contact points at the base are very small, and a brim prevents the model from detaching mid-print.

  • Infill: 15% – 20% is more than enough. Since the struts are thin, your slicer's wall loops will do 90% of the work.

  • Layer Height: 0.16mm or 0.20mm for an optimal balance between print time and clean, sharp corners.

  • Retraction: Make sure your retraction settings are tuned well to prevent stringing between the open wireframe faces.
