Inspired by the original big brother I have on my Segeberger hives, I needed the same for the NUC 6 window version. Did not want to fiddle around with the gate block/door.
Easy to close for transport and to regulate the gate, as the colony gets stronger, so it is able to defend itself.
Print in PETG, or any other, its exposed to nature,...
Install, close the gates, and level it out. While the landing block is installed, it should slide easily over the pad for some support. Then remove one gate completely, and do not move the bracket. It will expose the hole for the screw. This is easier while the NUC is standing up, so the gate and bracket can just lie flat. Find a screw that fits the hole and does not stick out. The walls of the NUC are pretty thick, so they can handle a bigger screw.
