A print in place twisty fidget in the shape of a sphere consisting of 10 interlocking segments.
Each segment is held in place on each side with 2 (internal & external), separate keyed sliders.
With the exception that between segments 1 and 10 there is no physical connection allowing the sphere to fully extend.

Its not recommended to scale the sphere due to the likelihood of failure.
Scaling down the inter segment spacing will be reduced likely leading to fusing. Whilst, scaling up will increase the inter segment spacing which worst case could result in segment detachment.

As the sphere is fully formed a holder is provided to retain and display the fidget when not in use.

Post processing
As the sphere is fully formed some support is applied to maintain stability and position on the build plate which will require removal. Most of this should come off relatively easily but any stubborn areas or protrusions can be removed with a picking tool a fine needle file and/or wet fine grit sandpaper to free the segments and improve handling. Whitening of the surface can be remedied by rubbing with a burnishing tool and rubbing with mineral oil.

If after removing of all support remnants the segments do not slide free carefully slide a slim pallet knife between the segments to break any bridging.

Applying pressure to segment pairs whilst sliding them together will help improve the slide by smoothing the interfaces.
