The sandisk quickflow microsd reader is very fast but it is a lot bulkier than I'd like and has no way to attach to a keychain. So I made my own case.
The sleeve is supposed to be printed in vase mode (with 0.8mm of bottom layers), adjust the wall thickness to adjust fit (I used 0.5mm). Files are pre-oriented for printing.
This should probably be printed in something heat resistant like abs/asa as it can get relatively toasty under load.
To build it, gently crack open the stock case at the seams and liberate the heatsink from the top plastic shell (you'll need to cut the heatstakes holding it in). The connector and the electronics should come out of the bottom case relatively easily.
Then insert the connector and the elctronics into the bottom case and the heatsink with the chamfered bit facing inside into the lid and gently put them together. After that slide on the sleeve from the usb connector end to hold it all together, if it's too loose reprint with thicker walls or slightly scaled down in x/y.
