If you've fitted a DXC extruder, you no longer need the rear-mounted sensor, so this simplifies the filament path.

If you've fitted an alternative extruder with a runout sensor at the toolhead, you will have unplugged the run-out sensor at the rear of the K1 Max. This removes it from the filament path, making it smoother, whilst keeping the bowden tubes in place.

This is a quick print without supports and attaches to the rear of the case using one of the original screws from the bowden tube holder.

You will need a couple of new bowden connectors - I've used some cheap ones from Ali-Express described as "ECAS04 Bowden Fitting ERCF V2.0" (as pictured). These just press firmly in place into the new bracket. Push the two pieces of bowden tube into these equally so they meet in the middle and provide a low-friction alternative to the old run-out sensor.
