A miniature strandbeest based on the model by theo jansen.
so theo jansen is this dutch artist engineer who basically wanted to create artificial life, and the way he did it was by designing these massive walking creatures made entirely out of pvc pipes called strandbeests, which literally translates to beach animals.
the way they walk is through this 11 bar linkage mechanism where a single rotating crank drives a leg that traces this specific oval path, and that path is what makes it look so unnervingly alive. the magic is that jansen spent years optimizing those 11 link lengths until the foot barely lifts off the ground and glides forward smoothly, he actually called these the holy numbers.
string multiple legs together phased at different angles and the whole thing walks across the beach powered by just the wind, no motors no electronics just pure mechanical genius.
BUILD INSTRUCTIONS :
I honestly dont know what to write.
Take one of the plates of the triangle (part7) and insert the filleted hole in the base's axle. Then insert an external axle of appropriate length, and then add the 39.3mm part in the base axle and the 39.4mm (part with triangle holes) in the external axle inserted in the base. Then in the 39.3mm insert the axle with a cylinder on it, and then slide the 61.9mm part and then lock it with the other part of the axle, then insert that into the foot and lock it using a washer. Then connect the 39.4mm part to it using an external axle and lock it using a washer. Then slide the 50mm and 61.9mm parts is the 15mm part and lock that as well.
Then slide the connected 15mm part into the base and then connect the top cover of te base and lock it using washers. Im really sorry but this is the best i could do.

PLEASE NOTE, there are 2 similar parts, 39.3mm connector and 39.4mm one, the 39.4mm one. The39.4mm one has triangular holes in it's main body while the 39.3mm one does not, pls distinguish the parts and assemble properly.
Using superglue on all washers and axles to glue them to their mains bodies IS RECOMMENDED, IT CAN WORK WITHOUT IT, BUT IF YOU USE IF IT WILL IMPROVE THE JOINT THAT'S ALL, I RECOMMEND THE USE, IT IS IN ANY WAY OR FORM NOT COMPULSORY, as everything that is suppose to rotate have huge tolerances.
