Need to mount your microphone boom arm to 1" Aluminum Extrusion? Then this might be the part for you. This is designed to replicate the functionality of a T-Plate, used to attache two extrusion pieces together. The part can be used in either a normal or upside-down T fashion.

Recommend 50% (or more) infill, as the leverage placed by a boom arm can be extensive. Recommended to print this item on the back face that would attach to the extrusion, and using organic supports to help hold open the boom hole. For the actual attachment, I've gotten away to using only the two of the vertical screws holes closest to the boom mount. Additionally, the vertical mounting holes line up with economy double/triple nuts.

This was designed and tested for the O.C. White Ultima. It has a rather snug fit to minimize rotation for non-level installations.

Want a version of this that doesn't utilize a t-junction? I'm considering a version that would wrap around three sides of extrusion. Send me a message and I'll head back to the drawing board.
