A top that will spin for at least a minute after being hand launched. The best spin time will be achieved via the optimum launch between one's thumb and index finger. I printed mine in PETG (my favorite material). You will need to procure a dozen each of M4x6 SHCS and M4 x 2,5 thick nuts having a width across flats of 6,83 mm (.269"). and a 2 x 10mm dowel of steel or stainless steel that is at least rounded on the free end or better yet ruby tipped. CAUTION - Use of a drop of anaerobic on all 25 of these small pieces is recommended to preclude the danger of any of them being swallowed by children.
This MUST be printed with supports enabled. On my Bambu A1 I chose "auto tree" and "tree slight". The removal process of the support material was not at all difficult, with it coming off pretty much intact as a ring.
The goal in the design is to get the CG as low as possible and the total weight (mass) of the load represented by the screws and nuts as high as practical. Machined tops can spin as long as 16 minutes. So make your own, remixing the design here and see how much time you can achieve with yours. Cheers....
