Plastic worm sprocket gear and plunger/carriage assembly for Tacoma truck bed auto-lock mechanism. This part often strips and starts making a loud clicking noise and eventually stops locking/unlocking the tailgate. I made this based on the gears found in the 2019 Toyota Tacoma but should be the same mechanism generally for 2016-2023 models. Often referenced as Toyota Part Number PK3B6-35JL0 or PL8535 / PL8547HD.
***5/20/26 edit - PETG gear (worm gear) has been snapping, so I switched to a hardened .4 nozzle and used 100% fill PC-CF filament to resolve***
5/5/26: Uploaded V5 - fixing gear tightness issues / loosening tolerance so sanding shouldn't be needed.
