Two versions of the footpad and carriage are provided. One does not need support bu must be assembled. Alignment holes are provided for the use of 1.75 mm filament pins.
The supported version will work best with a separate support interface material because of the small gap above the friction spring. I used PLA for the support interface and PETG everywhere else.
The BambuLab A1 Mini file uses the unsupported version. You could probably get it one one build plate the this minimizes total print time.
The Snapmaker U1 file is the supported version.
