My mother loves wind spinners, so I thought this would be a fun opportunity to design one and show my appreciation for all that she's done for me :)
This spinner prints flat on a 220x220 build plate, then assembles quickly. The supporting rods feature hook loops at both ends, so you could chain a couple of these together if you wish.
I used a fishing ball bearing connector to allow the spinner to rotate freely
This layout is made to take advantage of textured build plates to enhance the shimmering effect of a wind spinner, and works best with a transparent filament. I recommend PETG so it can withstand sunlight and the outdoors
I have included a 3mf file that shows the assembled design, as well as a step file with a blank centerplate so you can design your own!
