Make it fit your scope

  1. Measure the outside diameter of your scope with calipers.

  2. Add 0.5mm to that measurement for the right fit.

  3. In Fusion 360, open Modify > Change Parameters and enter that number for the “Size” variable.

Everything else resizes automatically. The other parameters (Cap_wall, cap_depth, Up_Length) are also there if you want to tweak the cap.

Parts needed

  • Bungee cord: (any 1/8 inch bugeee cord)

  • 1x M3x8 SHCS screw

Setup
There are two ways to mount it, and the photos show examples of both:

  • Screw-on mount: Secure it with the M3x8 screw if you have room on your scope rings.

  • Cord-only mount: If you don’t have room for the screw on your rings, run the bungee cord under and around the scope and tie it off at the other end.

Included sizes
I included a few pre-made STLs that I made for my own scopes: [list sizes, e.g. 46mm, 65mm]. If you don’t have Fusion 360, tell me your scope’s diameter and I’ll make one for you.

Printing
I printed mine in PETG, and it’s held up great. There are no special settings, so your normal profile will work fine.

If you print one, post a photo in Makes. I’d love to see it on your scope.
