I wanted an adapter that would fit securely in the metal cup holds on my couch creating a flat inner surface to rest on but be easily removed for using large 32 oz water bottles. The base is positioned to create a flat surface for the 24oz Yeti but also our tea mugs are elevated to the point where the handles are now above the lip of the cup holder and no longer tip easily.
I made it easy to print without supports, the base screws into the upper cup and included the step fil so you can change the dimensions to suit your needs.
