I designed this bar end mirror adapter for my Yamaha MT-09 SP 2025 model. It should work with any motorcycle that has handlebars with an internal thread taking an M8 bolt. I designed it specifically for Snell bar end mirros I bought from XLMoto. https://www.xlmoto.no/product/styreendespeil-snell-neo-bar-end_pid-PM-4950074. But they should work for any bar end mirrors that have a clamp diameter of 22mm.
M8 x 1.25 x 50mm socket head bolt
Stainless M8 flat washer (15–16mm OD)
Loctite Blue on the bolt threads
Snell Neo bar end mirror (or any bar end mirror with a 22mm external clamp)
This is mounted on the outside of the stock bar end weights, and the model has a 16mm protrusion that sits inside the end opening of those bar end weights; This helps with centering during installation. The TPU sleeve is not completely necessary, but I found that it keeps the mirrors from sliding around on the adapter as it adds friction, and I also have not noticed any excessive vibrations during riding tests.
Obviously, this is not tested and certified for road use, and may breach local laws. This is simply a creation for my own curiosity and uses, and you are responsible for complying with laws and safety standards. I do not take any responsibility for failures or legal troubles.
I printed mine in Fiberon PET-GF15, and It has held up very well to long rides with high speeds.
If you decide to use it, take a short ride to test, and check bolt tightness after a while (maybe 50km). You should use some thread locker when installing the bolt. You can print the endcap buttons to cover up the bolt, and those can be printed in standard PLA.
