Take control over your LiIon batteries. This simple device applies different loads to your battery. Keep control!
Two simple bulbs (12V/5W) which you can switch separately. 0 or 1 or 2.
During testing phase you can watch and survey the voltage drop, thus act when your cut-off voltage is reached. Dont utilize more energy when the battery has reached this cut-off voltage. Bear in mind that my two light bulbs are connected in parallel, not in series. Calculate your cut-off-voltage per battery pack, depending on 1s, 2s, 3s, etc. I would not go far over 3s, maybe 4s would work too?
It seems that the voltage and ampere meter is quite accurate.
Everything printed in PLA on my MK4. Plate in 2 color by MMU3. Case upside down with support and PETG for support. Came off easy.
We have case, bottom plate, decorate plate and two bulb sockets. (Two holes you see on the photographs are closed now, stls contain this correction).
What you need besides filament: some glue for the sockets, 4 small philips selftapping screws (countersunk, ø1.8-2.0mm x 5-7mm long), DC-volt-ampere-meter like shown, 2 banana-plugs (red+black), 2 toggle switches (2 positions, 2or3 poles). Wire and solder...
The bulbs received red and black wire soldered on, then pass the wires through the two hols and wire it accordingly. After some light pressure of holding the bulbs in position I just let some hot glue drop on the holes to keep the bulbs in place.
