One of my semi-annual chores is opening and closing all my air conditioning vents since I have hydronic heat. Some of the vents are difficult to access and some have difficult to move adjusters. This tool makes it a bit easier to reach them.
The yoke on the pole end will need support but be sure to use a support blocker on the threads. They're designed to be printed without support.
Depending on the filament material the clip that holds the pin in place may loosen over time. Some glue will keep it in place. Or, as I prefer, heatstake the pin with a soldering iron. No need for the clip then.
It was designed with separate support interface material in mind, so just two flat areas for the interface and minimal filament changes. Again, be sure to block the threaded section.
I recommend 0.15 mm layer height. 0.2 mm will work if the perimeter line widths are increased to 0.6 mm or so. This is for the overhangs in the threaded section.
I used PETG with PLA support interface.
