This is also known as the Eureka puzzle, Oliver Ring, Boomhower puzzle, Magic Ring Escape, and more. The goal is to remove the ring from the rest, as well as to put it back as shown in the pictures.

Assembly

The hole for the string is 4mm, which will fit paracord 550 or similar sized ropes. If you need to use different diameter string and don't want to remix, you can rescale all the objects at the same time to fit your requirements. The length of the string in the pictures is ~40cm, but it's not important and can be longer or shorter. In case it's not clear from the picture, the order of what goes on the string is:

  1. A stopper knot

  2. A disc shaped piece

  3. A ball shaped piece

  4. The main slot piece

  5. The other ball shaped piece

  6. The other disc shaped piece

  7. Another stopper knot
