After 3 Years of using the Basis 2000 device from Gardena, the caps started to crack at the sides. So I had to create a replacement (original spare part costs almost as much as a new base).

I printed this on a Prusa MK4S with no supports. The threads are printing in mid air, so you need to have a thin layer height - I used 0.10mm. Sadly the necessary threads were completely flat on the bottom, but I did not want to print it the other way around.

I made this last year and everything works fine. Printed in Prusament Recycling PETG with 6 Perimeters as I had some issues with less (the top broke off due to the pressure).

As one of my newer caps also broke, I added more stability by emulating the original square form of the cap. I pulled up the inner part of the corner holes, so it stabilizes the cap at the correct place. I recommend using the newer version.

You need to use the big gasket of the original cap. So be sure you keep that.
