Update 2026-08-06: Added Empowered Token
Update 2026-09-01: Added Temporary Token
Although the design is similar to my previous models, this model is not compatible with me previous tokens. All relevant tokens are now recreated for this new sized storage box.
The springloaded box is compatible with 7.0mm x 19.0mm and 9.5mm x 19.0mm springs (the 9.5 provides more stability)
I used a cheap set of springs like this amazon set: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/dp/B07WFPPXXX
8 Slots total, that can each hold 5-6 tokens (6 tokens nearly compress my spring fully, So I recommend max 5 tokens)
Held together with 5 M3 screws, with max screw length of 12mm.
For this model I used M3x10mm screws
Works perfectly with FDM printers (PLA or PETG recommended)
If you want to print the tokens in multicolor effect. If you use a 0.2mm print height, you want to change the color, starting with the 6th layer (0-1mm in one color, 1-2mm in the other color). Incase you do not own a multicolor printer like myself, The 6th layer is where you would include the pause in most slicers, allowing you to change the color yourself.
The sliding box supports 5 tokens per slot.
I print the lid upside down, such that the groove that gives you some grip faces the build plate. Incase you have a build plate with fancy patterns, this will then also neatly be visible on top. Just be wary of elephant footing on the lid, the tolerances here are somewhat tight.
These cases will fit in a deck box.
Print settings:
Layer height: 0.2 mm
Infill: 15-25%
Supports: For the top part of the springloaded box I used supports under the screw counterbore cutouts. The rest does not require supports
Nozzle temp: 200–220°C
Bed temp: 60 °C
For the tokens:
"Only one wall on top surfaces": False
Ironing: Topmost surface
