Vantrue E1 Dash Cam – Universal M4 Thread Adapter
This is a custom-designed mounting adapter for the Vantrue E1 Dash Cam. It allows you to bypass proprietary mounts and use any universal dash cam mount featuring an M4 threaded stem.
Why use this?
Versatility: Use universal suction cups, adhesive mounts, or rearview mirror clamps that utilize a standard M4 stem.
Durability: Provides a secure, rigid connection for stable, vibration-free footage.
Recommended Print Settings
Since dash cams live on windshields, material choice is the most critical factor for success.
Material: ASA (Highly Recommended), ABS, or other high-temp materials.
⚠ IMPORTANT: Use ASA to prevent the adapter from warping or degrading due to intense UV exposure and high cabin heat. Avoid PLA or PETG, as they will fail in a hot vehicle.
Infill: 25% or higher.
Walls/Perimeters: 3–4 for structural integrity.
Print Orientation: Print it upright.
