Light Radiation Jig

Seems like we use this less often than in the old days and admittedly there are many ways to do this test with random metal bits and graph paper, but has been a time saver.

  • 10x10 field size at 100cm.

  • Works just fine with DoseLab software.

  • BB's in center and each corner offset by 1cm.

  • BB center is in precise plane of top surface (Don't dare accept 0.015% error with improperly placed BB's!!)

  • Requires 5x 3mm Tungsten BB's  -- McMasterCarr

  • Includes lugs for measuring final print with calipers (scale if needed)

  • Attaches to couch rail to speed setup

  • Ideally use multicolor print for scribe lines, but not required.

    • Set "scribes" object as a Modifier in Slicer and assign a different color filament.

  • You will need supports under the cutout for the couch rail.  Nice to have multi material printer and use PETG for the interface layer.  If you know, you know.
